Summer SAT Prep Course - Prepare early for the August SAT

Registration for our summer SAT course begins after spring break on Monday, April 2 and will run through Friday, April 20.  We cannot accept any enrollments after this date, so please take action if you want to take this course. You can sign up with Mr. Wilson in room 212, Mr. Gerdes in room 263, in the Career Information Center (CIC), or online.

The cost is $175.00. Make checks payable to East Chapel Hill High School or pay to East Chapel Hill at www.k12paymentcenter.com.  A book will be provided at the first class.

This is a great opportunity to prepare early for the late August or October administrations of the SAT.

Preparing to apply for college and completing the process can be overwhelming. Additionally, navigating the ins and outs of financial aid options can be equally bewildering.  Join us for an evening with two experts on these topics.


Patty Baum will speak about ways to prepare yourself for a successful application to college, no matter where you plan to apply. 


Alison Rabil will discuss how to navigate the world of scholarships, student loans, and paying for college at both public and private institutions. 


Each expert will offer a general presentation, followed by time for questions. All are welcome. Sponsored by the East PTSA."

Cinderella's Closet - Prom

Are you ready for prom? If not, Cinderella's closet has you covered. It is a non profit organization that assists students who may need help with prom dresses and accessories. Please see either Ms. Allen or Ms. Coveney in rooms 147 and 148 for a referral. The deadline for applications in March 6.

ECHHS Science Olympiad - Varsity Earns 1st Place, JV Earns 2nd and 3rd

Congratuations to East's Varsiy and JV Science Olymiad teams. "East's Varsity Science Olympiad team earned 1st place AGAIN this year at regionals.  They are headed to state competition, yet again.  Our two JV teams earned 2nd and 3rd place in their division!

There were so many amazing performances, but here's just a sampling of the first place medals for Varsity:
