AP Testing Accommodations

posted Aug 29, 2016, 5:49 AM by Ashley McBride
Attention parents!   Please see and adhere to the following deadlines when requesting testing accommodations for all College Board assessments.  Formal requests for accommodations must be initiated by a parent for any student who is not 18 years of age.   Students who are 18 years old may submit their own accommodation(s) request.  East can not submit these requests.  The official accommodations request form from The College Board can be downloaded and printed from the East website or from the attachment.  This form must be completed and returned to the SSD coordinator at East, Kimberly Manning 5 days prior to the deadline listed by the College Board to allow processing time.  Notification will be provided to parents and/or  the student once their request has been submitted to the College Board.  If you have questions or concerns please contact the individuals listed below.   Separate requests must be made to receive accommodations for state-based testing ( see the timeline).
Please note the process for requesting ACT accommodations is entirely different since the school administers this test.  For the ACT ONLY, accommodation requests for the 11th grade administration of the ACT will be processed by the school.
